Priscilla A. Burch

Priscilla Burch is the founder and President of Sign Language Services International, Inc., Baton Rouge’s oldest and largest Interpreter Service Provider. She holds a Level IV Sign Language Interpreting certificate from the National Association of the Deaf.

Priscilla has been involved in the profession for over forty, working at Gallaudet University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Delgado Community College, and Tulane University. She was responsible for establishing the Arkansas Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf interpreting service and the Deaf Action Center of Baton Rouge before opening up her own private practice.

Expertise includes organizing and providing Sign Language interpreting services for legal, medical, rehabilitation, mental health, and occupational needs. She also has expertise in coordinating convention and conference interpreting services.
