Camelot - March 21, 2009 - 2:00 PM
Interpreted Performance
Based on T. H. White’s “The Once and Future King,” this classic musical recounts the legendary tale of Arthur and his idyllic kingdom of Camelot. We journey with him as he meets his queen, Guenevere, and builds his Round Table with only the most worthy – none more worthy than Lancelot. As much as we would like, the dream cannot last forever, and King Arthur’s world begins to crumble. But all hope is not lost as a young boy is commanded to tell the tale and carry on the legendary traditions of honor and justice. Filled with such enchanting songs as “The Simple Joys of Maidenhood,” “If Ever I Would Leave You,” and the stirring “Camelot,” BRLT’s production is a treat for the whole family.
